Al Khashab supplies Plywood that is an engineered wood product made from three or more ‘plies’ or thin sheets of wood. These are glued together to form a thicker, flat sheet. The logs used to make plywood as a building material are prepared by steaming or dipping in hot water. They are then fed into a lathe machine, which peels the log into thin plies of wood. each ply is usually between 1 and 4mm thick.
Commercial Plywood can resist moisture and humidity to a certain level but it cannot be called ‘waterproof’. It can survive some amount of moisture, dampness and humidity so commercial plywood is most commonly used in the making of home and office furniture, and interior decoration work such as paneling, kitchen cabinet, the trim of car, packing, sofa inside, photo frame back, baby carrier and crib decoration embossed panel and so on.
